At Webstock 09 last week Russell Brown of Public Address and Media 7 fame, talked about television and video content on the web, and who’s getting it right.

Apparently we are!  Particularly when it comes to not geo-locking content, and as a preface to that I imagine wading through the quagmire of copyright clearances, NZ On Screen and RadioNZ were cited as the few that have taken the right approach – compared to TVNZ OnDemand, Hulu and even the revered BBC iPlayer.

Russell also praised the quality of our video and the general awesomeness of the site. It was great to hear, particularly in the esteemed company of Webstock 09 attendees.
